Hey everyone!!

I've missed you all so much. I've been so swamped with things lately. I was working on switching from one Masters of Art in Graphic Design at the Academy of Art University program to another and somehow I decided to go back and get a second bachelors degree in Graphic Design at SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design). I was worried about the tuition overlap until I got awarded $11,000 in Artistic and Academic Honor Scholarships, so I am celebrating BIG today! The process of getting accepted took a lot of time, so has my freelance work and my part-time data entry work, plus my family has been down here to visit quite a bit lately, so needless to say I'm swamped - but it's definitely worth it! I'm trying to be back here a bit more proactively now though!

I don't know if all of you have heard about the Joplin, Missouri tornado , but it was an F5 tornado that has killed over 132 people and there are still over 90 people missing. Missouri is where I was born and raised and helping everyone anywhere is important to me, but especially the people of Joplin. There are so many people in Joplin who have lost their homes, family members, and sense of security. I love my converse, magenta, purple, and orange, and astrology. Oh and flp flops.

I think if everyone made an effort to be nice to someone else in the world all the time, the world would be a better place.

I speak my mind, sometimes to the point where it gets me in trouble (although I try to never say anything hurtful.)

I feel most alive when I am painting or drawing or out appreciating nature. I've got a gypsy soul and my wanderlust keeps me traveling. I feel most inspired on the road.

I've got an obsession with pirates, vampires, spiritual art (i.e. spirit guides, soul art, esoteric art), and anything Southern.

Can't live without Mezzaluna Ravioli (that would be mushroom filled ravioli) or tortellini, good music on my ipod, and my black lab, Addison.

I dabble in all kinds of art, but I make my living as a Graphic Designer. In my freetime I make digital art like photo manips and digital paintings and montages. I also draw anime, tattoo art, figure drawings, and cartoons in my sketchbook a lot of the time. I love to find a comfy spot outside and paint what I feel on the blank inviting canvas in front of me. My weapon of choice? Acrylics.

I had an x-ray done today and they found you in my heart. The doctor said if they took you out, I would die because I couldn't live without such a good friend.
